news on the GM homepage says she's retiring from the game. Can't say I watch alot of woman's golf but did enjoy watching her play.

Wish I could have retired at 28!!

A bit like Sorenstam and wants to get out at the top and have a family and enjoy life. Can't say I blame her as she's made her money (and married to a multi millionaire anyway) and won almost everything there is. Its a shame but it would be good if a European (ideally British) player could kick on and top the rankings

She's nowhere near the best lady golfer any more. Bowing out at the top, great player but would never have challenged Annika's reign/record.

I wish her well and sad to see a Ping player bite the dust!

Hold the phone.

I am/was a huge fan.....I wish her all the best (like she pops on here now and again :o)

I leave you with one of my favourite photos filling my photobucket account.

Remember her sheer delight at winning the ladies Open at St Andrews the most, oh and that Banamex logo on her hat - see advertising does work .
She really appeared to enjoy playing golf and expressed that publically, something Mr Woods could try and do better.

Wish I could've retired at 28! :D

I like her.

Can't name any of the other women out there, except for a couple of one's that are more for tottie or fnarrrr reasons, than actual golf talent ( Gulbis and Creamer spring to mind )

Shame.....

:(

Marshalled the Womens open last year, was on the 11th tee for a few hours and she was the only one who spoke to me...... not her life story admittedly but just a smile and "good morning". Made my day anyway, and every bit as nice as Creamer, Gulbis close up. Wish her well, she does loads of charity stuff back in Mexico too.
