Anyone ever had this....... Ok iv been through swing changes and its going to be a while yet before they bed in fully but shanked one today while practicing at the club and then proceeded to cream 5 in a row afterwards with a nice soft draw...
But the more i begin looking down at them the smaller they seem to get.....Now i love my FG Tours but its tough to have faith in something that can be so easily shaped....Especially when the swing aint fully working.....

I dont want to start thinking about mechanics again until the end of the season but i know that i have a late release and this can cause problems at times.....
And also im trying to flatten my left wrist at the top of the backswing so that the clubface is squarer....But when swinging at times im definitely offering the hose back in hosel of the club to the ball...

Stableford in the morning with full course conditions back in play......Not looking forward to the outcome.

Feeling the pain. Had a great range session Tuesday and was buzzing for the comp today. Had a shank session at the range last night and was fearing the worse today. Frost delay prevented me playing so I hit the range. Still not swinging great. Got a club match tomorrow and kind of worried about the consistency of my game. On the plus side, played nine holes tonight and apart from a bad drive at 7, and a bad one at 9 and a bad (risky) approach did ok. Managed to pitch at 9 over a bunker, downhill and left it stone dead so par without seeing the short grass gave the confidence a boost. Still scared of the hosel rocket lurking tomorrow

There's someone on the forum who has this in his signature...

"The most important 6 inches in the game of golf is between your ears"

...can't think who it is though
