My son is getting married today and after 2 years of earache over all the plans it's finally here. I'm now chilled out and looking forward to meeting family and friends. An hour or so then off to the venue, I delivered the wedding cake yesterday (about 30 miles away) and I drove like it was a hearse!

Best bit - I don't have anything to do, no speech, nothing, roll on!

Google classic Scottish style best man speeches, very funny , does includes some swearing. Enjoy the day.

Come on man....The speech is the best bit. Get up and say your piece. You will never get another opportunity...hopefully. My lad is getting married July next year....we've waiting a long time for this and you can bet your life I'll be having a few words to say. :D

Fabulous wedding at an equally fabulous venue. I've not cried since I was 5 years old but I was close to it several times yesterday

Thanks for your kind comments

Daughter got married nearly two years ago. I held it together quite well until we were stood at church entrance. She said " Dad have you seen that" and pointed to some words in a Frame. It said "Dad, of all the walks we have taken together, this is the one I will remember Forever" Love you Dad. Me Hanky got very wet very quick.
excellent days out weddings getting to see members of family and friends for the right reasons.
Glad it went well me man.

Thanks Tashy

Seeing my Grand daughter of just 4, taking the microphone during the speeches and deciding to sing to the 90 guests was both very funny and a joy!

Hope that was recorded, she can be reminded of that when she gets married 😁
