My local course is closed due to flooding, (Long Sutton), so I'm looking for recommendations for a good course in the South West preferably within reasonable travelling time of the Taunton/Yeovil area, that is still in good condition without temporary greens.

I have some 2 for 1 vouchers and if possible would like to use these for myself and a playing partner more than likely on Sunday

All depending how far you wish to travel but i played Thornbury last sunday as they never use temps in winter and it played very well considering the rain here and the greens were very quick. Or try maybe weston super mare as again they never use temps but is more open type course. Both use 2 for 1 vouchers i believe but i would play the 9 hole course at Burnham and Berrow, £20 for all day

I would 2nd that, a cracking little course with some really good holes. Difficult to get 36 in at this time of year so 27 holes could be just right

East Devon is a cracking course when everywhere else is soaking.
Not sure on the 2 for 1 though

Thanks for the advice I didn't even think about the channel course but it could be a good bet and the forecast looks to be good for Sunday/Monday
