Looking for a thriller or drama

Me and the wife are looking for a new thriller or American drama to watch.

We are looking for between 10 and 20 parts but only one season ones not like 24 that has been running for years.

We have just watched Wayward Pines and Blacklist which we loved.

Any suggestions much appreciated

We enjoyed 'Justified ' - my wife thought the lead actor very talented ( = easy on the eye). Good moment of humour too.

Murder In The First is good - currently having series 2 run on Fox, sure you'll be able to download them (me and the Mrs recently went through all the Entourage's so have only just found the time to start watching series 2 last night. Cracker of an opening!). I've always been a fan of Suits as well.

Breaking Bad and Dexter were great but multi episode multi series, if you want a single series (currently) drama you could do a lot worse than the Netflix exclusive Bloodlines which we thought was superb

Appreciate these break the 1 season rule but the original Danish The Killing (under no circumstances the US remake) was excellent. Satisfaction guaranteed. Also not a traditional thriller but The Wire just about as good as it gets. And there's lots of drama in it.

The best single series drama shows I've seen are:

The Tunnel - brilliant story well acted. You have to endure partial subtitles though (bothers some).
Flash forward - for me it was a pity this wasn't continued.
The Affair - different in that it was shown from two perspectives.
No Offence - English tv gold.

However as the OP mentions the Blacklist which up to now has had 2 series (and therefore goes against the one series rule) it is therefore worth checking out:

The Soprano's - Epic show.
Breaking Bad - Worth the plaudits.
Game of Thrones - Mini movieesque.
True Detective - Brilliantly acted.

Suits is one of the best and easily watchable programmes you will ever watch. However, its just been renewed for a 6th season.

Edge of Darkness.
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
Smiley's People.

... are all still better than nearly everything made in the last 20+ years.

And am halfway through season 2 of prison break ATM, and loving it. Wish i could 'Un-watch' Breaking bad so i could experience that all over again too!!

I've just finished Prison break,really enjoyed it.
But it did get a bit silly in Season 4.
