I'd prefer to try & match my other wedges if possible. Hard to suggest what to go for as wedges like any club, are down to personal preference. Some people rave about Vokeys, some can't stand them etc

Depends, I wanted a bit of forgiveness in mine but not too clunky so went with an in between a xr pro rather than a bladed wedge.

I would either go for the same model as your other wedges, certainly if you are looking to play finesse shots with it (chipping etc)
If like me you use your 50 Deg for full shots only, you could consider getting the same as your current iron set (if they do make a gap wedge that is).

This is what I have, gap wedge same as my PW, both part of my AMP Cell iron set.
I find it's a good idea having that extra bounce on a lofted club for softer ground conditions in the winter. (As opposed to relying on my trusty rusty wedges).

If you are wanting it for full shots try getting one to match your irons, will offer a little bit more help and more confidence inspiring to look at, unless you are playing blades that is then go for whatever!

I went for Vokey 50 degree gap wedge because I could get one with lower bounce and it matches my other wedges.

I have a Vokey SM6 50 degree wedge that I love. I used to have a Ping G25 gap wedge that matched my irons. As I was replacing the SW, and I was buying a 60 degree wedge, I wanted all my wedges to match. I use the 50 for full shots as well as chips and pitches.
