Looking for a 3 wood....

I've been using my 15 year old Howson as my 3 wood since i took up the game.

Looking to blow some Christmas money on an upgrade but it's not a club i use all that often so not looking to spend a fortune (between 50 and 80). 15 degrees ideally.

Any suggestions?

i have a 15 degree 3 wood in the forsale section, cleveland xls hi bore in excellent conidtion,
it does have a shaft more suited to the better player though, keeps the ball low and penetrating hence why im selling

are you buying brand new or off ebay?

If you're after a new club perhaps consider a club from someone like benross or md, they make quality clubs that will be in your price range

I've got a not-quite two year old Mizuno MX700 15 degree 3 wood which I've not used an awful lot. Shortly after buying it, I also got an MX700 17 degree rescue club and the two of them are virtually identical in terms of distance, but I personally find the rescue club easier to hit off the fairway. It's in excellent condition, has a regular shaft and you can have it in exchange for £50, posted.

Have a look in AG as they were doing the 2008 Burner fairway woods between £60 and £80 depending on where you went

You can always pick up last years models cheaper and the md should cost less than £50.
