Longest drive ever

I have really struggled with my driver, and recently decided to leave it out of the bag for the last month, and I have hit more fairways with the hybrid and not been that much shorter than the driver. So today I decided after reading advice on the forum to take the driver back on the course, (no practice with the driver at all over the last month). Tried it only 5 times on the course, hit three tickle shots because I just wasnt committed, hit 1 slight slice, but much tighter than before, and then I hit a screamer (for me) 250 yards absolutely dead straight. Now I know you guys are hitting 400 yards and use a putter for 250 yard shots lol but 250 yards was a dream for me, to make things even better I then hit my next shot it dropped onto the green 6 feet from the hole. Par 4, 420 yards and I was 6 feet from the hole in 2 shots. Can anyone help me putt 6 feet in less than 2 shots aaarrrgggghh. Bob I think a putting aid is required.

Sure is, going to have a little practice with it and see if I can get it happening a little more often.

I still think it's arguably the greatest feeling in the world, the sweet ping (or strange clunk as is it off the Dymo2 SQ I have) of driver on ball followed by the club continuing around your body and the back foot swivelling to let you admire your ball sailing long and straight down the fairway.

Of course I always make an arse of the next shot but the long walk to the ball is superb.
