Longest course you have played

Hi

I played the warwickshire a couple of weekends ago and was absolutely shattered after our round.

I throughly enjoyed the course, some interesting features but it was soooo long, I think it has to be one of the longest courses I have ever played, not sure I could play it 2 days in a row without a buggy or some serious stamina training before hand 😉

The Oxfordshire is another long course, really enjoyed it but again absolutely shattered afterwards.

What is the longest course you have played?

No really sure of the actual yardage but the woosnam course at dalehill was a good slog without a buggy.The longest hole I have played is the 644yd 17th at hever castle GC.

Worfield in Shropshire for me. 6400 yards from the yellows. Good course though.

7 169 yards is my home golf course in CR from blacks, which I played once from those tees. Longest hole, however, was on another popular course in CR (Mlada Boleslav), par 5 - 713 yards. I have one par (played 3x) from that hole

This one for me too. To make matters worse it was soaked with no run at all on tee shots.

home coure is 7000 yds although m0st comps are played of the short tees at 6600

Wentworth West from the White's was just over 7000, and West Berks off the Blue tees is very similar ... they are certainly the two that I remember playing that are longer than I'd normally play.

Comp tees at my own course are 6500

Walton Heath.......played in a Pro Am off the back tees, bit of a monster.

7,661 yards around Killeen Castle . fab course , too long tho , we had one guy hitting good drives but only just making the fairway ..

7400. Actually found it a good test. Par 72. SSS 77 and shot 5 over. Used every single club in my bag.

Slaley Hall for me I think, the Hunting Course, but I always enjoy it.

2010 off the back tees was long and very tough. Tough walk was the National at Vale of Glamorgan.....but well worth it as a truly cracking course.

Quite funny, I've been/am a member at 2 of the courses mentioned!

Played Bowood bowl this weekend too, that was 7300 and it rained solidly for 9holes

Rockliffe Hall 7400 I think, and that was the blacks. The gold is another 400 yds longer.
