After listening to the Drs, decided to add some high intensity exercise to my life... Someone on the forum had mentioned Tabata training, so looked it up on utube... Pretty good stuff, but Must say it was the longest 10 mins of my life

Out of breath and sweaty.. Progress will be slow, It takes time to turnaround a oil tanker

Now where is that pint when I need it...

Once you've done that for a bit move on to this

100% guaranteed to leave you in a heap sweating and crying on the floor....... I've done the 60 day routine twice and it does not fail to kick your butt every single time, fittest I've ever been on completing it.

I think i managed a solid 3 minutes of this drill and was completly out of breath. Hopefully over the next few weeks it will build up...

you do have a gluttony for punishment..

Interestingly, haven't liked any of the male videos -they are too far well built and gave me a complex. i think the lovely lady in my Tabata video was easier on the eye... but she is fit one.

I do something similar called Metafit - 16 minutes of intense sweaty, oxygen deprived cardiovascular discomfort that leaves you questioning you sanity! BUT its amazing what just a few sessions does for you stamina!

Good thing that I'm young and fit and don't need to exercise!!!

... and then the alarm clock goes off...

had a quick 1 min look on utube... far too advanced for me..

The Tabata was v good and I cud do it at home rather than embarrassing myself in the gym... once I get some form of rhythm, I plan to sign up somewhere..

Current weight: 95.5
Avg score this year: about 96-97

Need to get under 90 in both.

Joined the gym (again) and going to my first ever Tabata class tonight.

I think I'm going to be broken tomorrow.

And Saturday. And Sunday......

I actually really enjoyed it, 8 full on minutes of giving your all and then a warm down. Only problem was I slightly pulled my hamstring on the final 20 seconds, old football injury that keeps coming and going but should ok in a week or 2. Will definitely do it again - tabata not pulling my hamstring!!.
