I played last night with two of my usual partners.
We teedc off at 7:20 and walked off the course at 10.20 p.m after 16 holes...Totally enjoyable although i played *****...Lost 11 balls but i enjoyed every minute of it.....

Midges were like dive bombers but i didnt care.......Took my new swing and for the most part my Iron play was fairly consistent happy days.

Went out again tonight and played 9 and was 6 over after 9 but again the Irons are starting to come round..Im so glad i made the decision to change....Add this to Bob's nugget of brilliant advice :D and im now not scared to play out over the tops of tree's on the right sides of fairways knowing that my ball is going to come back in.

All i need now is to start getting my head round the short game........

Whats the latest you've ever walked off the course. :) :)

Funny men :D :D :D

Im putting it down to a bad day at the office hammering the shite out of a 2004 reg Astra.....
I was tired but i was enjoying it and thats what its all about ;)
Oh and most of the reason for the wayward shots was the fact i had took my driver out and blew the cobwebs off....I should have left it in the dark for another while longer.

And something is definately going right as tonight i was playing quite well for the most part...Hopefully i can take it into a V-Par comp on saturday.

Bob anytime you want to step in here work away :) :) ;)

Not sure what time it was but I played the last 2 holes practically in the dark. You could just about see the ball to about 150 yds. I was 5 over on the 17th tee and convinced my mate to keep playing until we couldn't find my ball. 17 was the worst so just hit the ball and walked down the middle of the fairway hoping to find it which I did and made par. 18 is a par 3 and had a bit of light from the clubhouse so not so bad as 17 and pared that as well for a 77 :D

Probably finished about 10 before but with my dodgy eyes, anything after dusk is a nightmare and makes it a lottery. I'd rather get in before I struggle. As we're not teeing off until. 4.30 on Sunday afterning I might need Pedro to be in sombrero wearing mood!
