It tends to be very busy so normally a queu to use the range, putting green, try stuff out etc and mostly full of people (AG, golf holidays etc) trying to flog you gear. Not a bad thing but my advice would be to get there early and avoid the weekend. Its one of those things that once you have been one year they tend to be the same after that.

I went to the show last year and found it a bit of a let down. Huge queues to try any clubs etc and too many stalls advertising holidays. I did go on the Saturday though so it may be better on the Friday.

When I went I thought that there were too many companies selling holiday homes on golf courses. If you took these away there wouldnt have been much there. Also didnt find any real bargins to be had.

I'm interested in going, just to compare it to the Boat Show regarding layout, the companies that are there, or not there more importantly, and attendence of Mr Joe Public.

I really don't need any more clubs at the moment, and if I was in the market for some, I'd prefer to have my Pros advice or go and get CF'd at Mizuno etc.

Large shows like this are struggling to get folks in through the door. The less folks that go, the less retailers want to cough up the vast sums required to take part in such events, and so the vicious circle continues.
