London Club - Heritage course.

Not sure how many courses they have at the London Club but Ian Poulter holds his IJP Design event there (or has done the past 2 years I believe) so it seems to be a decent place...!!

I played there a number of times and on both courses, the latest being on the Heritage a couple of weeks ago. Some of the rough can be very punishing, but they have had a maintenance program in play for a while where the rough is still quite long, but thin so you have a chance of finding your ball and being able to play it! :-) The greens are some of the best I have played on, although on the last visit they were running a little slow.

I generally hit my driver a long way and found that got me into trouble of a few of the holes due running out of room, so course management is key.

Great course but I have always found the international course a little more interesting.

Not sure which course I played (thank you Golf Monthly) when I tested trolleys, but a great venue and the course played was tough and in good condition. Enjoy your day

I'll try and have a look as I'm off there this afternoon for a briefing as a volunteer for The World Matchplay, where my club are marshalling the 1st and 2nd holes!!

Sorry for not acknowledging replies earlier - been temporarily indisposed. And now awake at a ridiculous hour. They have two courses. The International on which they hold (I think) the big comps, and for which you can pay green fees. The Heritage is their members only course which you can only get on as a guest (or if you get an opportunity like I did :) )
