Lethal Weapon - you got one?

Having stopped chopping and changing clubs (I didn't say putters) earlier this year, I think I've found my baby. Every time it comes out of bag, from whatever lie I decide to take it to, it just goes BOOM.

My baby, "Lethal Weapon" (awful name for a child), is my old TaylorMade V Steel 5W. I love it. Hitting it gives me great confidence and when it catches the middle flush, it just goes.

What say you people? What's the one club in your bag you enjoy hitting most because you are that confident of the result?

New shaft and grip and its like the old days. 250, ten foot off the ground, down the middle!

Callaway steelhead plus 7 wood. Cost me £8, its pretty battered but its the best club in the bag. 230 dead straight, definite go to club

Driver for me. When its hot, it's scorching. Launch it miles without fear of losing shots. BUT when its cold, it's a card wrecker every shot.

Mine is my 5 wood at the moment. Love hitting it and I know it's going to go straight more often than not.

All my clubs are about equal at the moment.

In the summer my 3 iron comes into its own, rolls forever and a day.

This time of year its the driver or the putter. I managed 240 uphill rolling through rough and potholes with the driver and died a 12 footer in for par to get up and down from 120 yards after a stunning 3/4 7 iron into a gale wind.

Callaway big Bertha 1 iron. It's like triggers broom with the amount of new shafts its had but always ends up back in the bag. Perfect for shorter tee shots but not much else. Invaluable though, it's fairway every time
