Lethal balls and Loundmouth trousers!

having failed miserably to win any GM forum comps I was pleasantly pleased, and slightly amused, to end up with both a pair of Loudmouth trousers and a load of TM Lethal Balls following victory in the last Surrey Tour event on Friday.

Playing with Oddsocks helped as he continued to encourage despite my best attempts to give up early on - the conditions were on the tough side of challenging!

The bad news is that whilst victory in a future round wearing said trousers will get me £150 voucher with LM, both 'fish' and 'jimboo.sombrero' are indicating form (the latter with new bats and balls and shoes.....) so I may have to pick an event they aren't competing in! Mind you Oddsocks is clearly going to win one this year too so I will have to avoid him as well.

Well done to Golfdays for running this re-arranged event despite the weather and lower than normal numbers - must have been a difficult call but they went ahead and supported everyone who played really well. A big thanks from me.

If one of the events is near you, and most are on a Friday afternoon, they are a great way to play an organised, competitive, round - and you don't need to commit to more than one - with the added chance of prizes (after those above have collected theirs!).

Good to hear these are well organised events I have entered one of the sister midlands tour events later on in the year.

cheers Rick - I get to choose (voucher value £75) but I'm struggling with size options right now which is rather frustrating!

re H4H unfortunately I have a problem with the date you have selected - it may resolve itself but I won't know until nearer the time. I'll be in touch.
