Have recently had to employ the services of a Solicitor in a non house-conveyancing matter.

Now I'd have to say they were excellent and extremely efficient, but the charges for an initial meeting, 4 emails, two phone conversations and completion and signing of a one-page document are nothing short of (IMO) eye-watering. £800 +VAT

They make Tour Pros seem almost underpaid by comparison

i remember having a non fault car accident in 1990,and luckily i had legal fee cover.

i must have had over 100 letters sent to me,and various phone conversations.
i must have been the lowest paid out person throughout the whole episode.

I know a tour pro who recently tweeted how tough it is to make a living if you are outside the top 50, maybe he should give up and re-train
