Leather Putter grips

Evening all,

Does anyone have experience of the Gripmaster Leather putter grips? Specifically the midsize ones? I'm after a new grip for the new odyssey I have and of the multitude of grips I've tried in the past, a leather one has never been installed.

So, thoughts and opinions please people? Pittards leather, is that the pinnacle? What attributes does a leather putter grip bring?

Had one a couple of years back. Kangaroo leather IIRC. Only attribute was that it felt soft, very soft. Not much more than that for me.
Currently got a heavy Pure Grips "Big Dog" on a 350g Mini DART, feels superb.

Depends how you install.

You can't build a leather grip up to much do they are, pretty much, pretty standard install.

If you like to build a grip up, like you would with irons and woods, leather grips are no good.

Not sure building up a midsize putter grip would standardise it TBH or that you would want to with midsize. I still think the only real attribute would be soft feel.
There was probably a time when a leather grip would be slightly heavier but these days with grips upward of 117g (my Pure Grip) then probably not.

I've got Gripmaster stitchback grips on my Woods and hybrids and love em' very tacky, in all weather, and worth £17 each. Not tried the putter grips even tho I bought 2 to fit on a couple of putters but I can 2nd the Pure 'bigdog' grip.... Feels great.
