How long do expect it last you?
Chap I played with yesterday said he was going through 1 about once a year which is why he changed to a lithium. Most selling descriptions list them as guaranteed for 5 years I think. Currently had my lead acid for 2.5 years and seems okay but I do like the idea of the lighter and faster charging lithium....

Guess the time limit it lasts will be determined by how often used - mine lasted 18 months - swapped to Lithium and it's 3 1/2 years old now and still does 36 holes

Had a couple of 18 hole lead acids batteries that didn't make it to two years. Bought a 36 holer that was still going strong at 4 yrs when I switched to a new trolley powered by lithium.

Like all batteries it depends on where they are stored, is it kept on charge, where is it kept, Cold is a real battery killer.
Kept in the right conditions i'd expect 5 years no problems. Is it a sealed unit or do you need to top it up?

Id love to know what I do wrong then Shewy as mine barely creep over the 12 month warranty period then start to struggle to last 18 holes. Current one just about to go the same way it seems, no shock considering its just got to 12mths old lol

I follow the manufacturer guidlines to the letter (its in the house so warm and on charge when not being used with their recommended charger)

From what I gather it depends more on how many times it is used and recharged and thats probably why mine suffer as they do get used many times a week usually

depends on the qualilty of the battery as well, cheap ones won't last. We have batteries in work on our UPS systems coming in for 10 years old and still holding up. Every now and then they need a good proper discharge.
12 months does seem a very short lifespan

Thats approx 200 cycles which is what most of them claim they will do I guess, feel free to recommend a decent option (albeit i expect i go lithium next time)

Father in law has had his about 7 years and counting, charges it, then takes it off charge when done, used to leave mine on charge all the time, but not now,

Had my first Go Kart one about three years, charging it as per instructions and storing it in the house. Second one still going after about 15 months

The trolley is Motora - which not a lot of people have heard of.

I've no idea who makes the battery for them, sorry.

I just remembered it's 10' from me charging up, so I opened the bag up but there isn't a brand on it and a google search of the part number on the label also brings up nothing.
