On Sunday I am heading off to Le Touquet for a much deserved golf break. I have never played there before so any advice in general or advice on the following courses would be great;

Aa St Omer Golf Club
Golf de Nampont-Saint-Martin
Golf de Belle Dune
Golf du Touquet
Golf d’Hardelot
Golf de Wimereux

Thanks in advance.

Yes to the two courses at Le Touquet, Fores and Dunes, and a big yes to Hardelot. I can't speak for the others.

Stay out of the casino. You win hundreds and hundreds of Euro's, then blow the lot on very expensive wine and wake up laid on the floor with your feel on the bed + a monumental headache!! Its a very bad place....

St Omer, I would recommend getting a buggy as its VERY hilly with some interesting holes. Belle Dune, its worth getting a course guide here, part woodland part links, very small clubhouse nice food and drinks though, Wimereux is a nice links, most of the longer holes play into the wind and if its sunny put on sun cream as you burn very easily with the sea breeze, the girl who works behind the bar is English here.

Enjoy

Sounds terrible! What type of courses are they? Comparable to any UK courses?

Played them all apart from the 2nd one. Hardelot Les Pins is the standout in my opinion , probably my favourite course. Beautiful visuallt and the properties surrounding it are to die for.The Dunes at hardelot has apparently been ripped up since i played it and is not the best. St Omer as mentioned is incredibly hilly but a good course nonetheless. Wimereux blew a gale when i played but i enjoyed. Some strategically placed pillboxes if i remember correctly . Belle Dune is an absolute treat. I've always played rubbish at the two Le Touquet tracks but they are excellent without doubt. Enjoy your trip.

Highly recommend Belle Dune (very attractive and accessible to many golfers abilities) and Hardelot for much the same reasons. Le Touquet courses are ok too, I enjoyed them but would prefer to go back to the others mentioned here.

If you fancy a bit more of a challenge Wimeraux will ask for all the shots, driving it well is really important here - I loved it on a blustery day but then I like that links/clifftop thing. St Omer looks good and we had to miss this one, unfortunately.
