So I picked up some lake balls from MailOrderGolf which were described as very good quality.

Some of the balls have a rough'ish' finish on them and don't have that smooth glossy finish that a good golf ball has on it also with some of the branding coming away from the surface. Will this massively effect my shot using a ball of this quality?

I'll really only be using these balls for knock rounds with friends and saving my best balls for tournament play.

probably be ok. if they refurbished then I would bin them

Do they grade them on there? i.e. pearl, A or B? I was debating getting lake balls but I'd only get pearl grade ones.

Well these were graded as 'high quality' which I would say is very misleading on this occasion. They have other listings on eBay and also listings on their website which classify other batches of balls as 'pearl grade, a grade etc.'

I've made contact with them but no reply as of yet!
