Hello all,

Anyone got a rough idea how much a basic GC2 is?

Cant seem to find the price anywhere?

Any other launch monitors are welcome to suggestions however I need it to show spin etc, also please be reasonable with price.

Cheers

Anyone ever used the ES14? Is it accurate and does the app work well?

i bought one after seeing this review 2 yrs ago. I like it, it's not as accurate as the gc2 but neither am I when I hit golf shots. I can use it on my iPhone or iPad by the way off the app but you don't need to use the app as the info scrolls through on the screen of the 14. It helped me when I tried a different shaft out on my irons, saying I got 6mph more using a light shaft so I bought the shafts and Game Golf has backed the 14 up by saying Ive gained 10yd per club.

IT just depends what you want from a LM, but I'm happy with mine.

CG2 is a commercial product,

You have money to burn, buy it or you want to play on tour, buy it, otherwise 99% of consumers would be a lot happier spending a tenth of the price for an ES14

Thanks a lot! very useful. Considering getting a LM and this is very cheap compared to other models!

You cannot compare ES14 and GC2.

I am fighting with Foresight at the moment about price and software and so on. Currently about £6.5k for the unit but the salesman tells me the prices will go up after xmas cos of the weak pound. ( I took that as a sales trick but might be true)

"I've had a SkyTrak for just over one year, the unit has been very unreliable and the technical support simply terrible. I would not recommend this device to anyone..."

I would not touch it with yours....

I personally think Sky Golfs service in the UK and USA is horrible (Steve the guy in charge of mapping is great) the rest of hte company is horrible and i remember it being nearly impossible to speak to a human (Something that winds me up, just bigger companies seeing actually speak to their customers and inconvenience)

That's one person giving it a bad review, anyone that you speak to F2F that has one will tell you the opposite. My dad sent his back as he had an issue with alignment on it. He received a new one no questions asked within 3 days.

I've now seen tests done against a GC2 and Trackman, the results are very consistent.

Also worth noting the reviews were also a year ago, they continue to make improvements to a very new product

When people complain about bad customer service... first things first.. they needed customer service...

Dont get me wrong i'd love a GC2, but spending £6k on one (at least) as a consumer is madness. you dont get 3x the quality than the skytrak

Which ones will actually tell you the dynamic loft you are delivering to the ball at impact, rather than a calculated, or pre-entered static loft?

I know Trackman and GC2 do - but surely figures are going to be out on some of the others based on calculations
