My Twinline 4 is getting tired and needs replacing. The swiveling front wheel is playing up (button stays in when pressed) and the sliding /fold mechanism sticks...
So I want a new one.
Opinions please on the latest crop...
Don't need/want electric...And not keen on one's that look like an electric but have lost the battery...
I'd prefer one that folds small without having to twist wheels or have tubes sliding inside each other - would prefer a simple folding mechanism.
Stewart?
Clic-gear?

Hit me!

Still clicgear but a bit cheaper. I have the rovic. Rock solid, easy to fold up and it folds up very small. Pushes easily, good storage, basically love mine and quite a bit cheaper than the main clicgear range

I bought clicgear after reading the reviews but regretted it - far too large being the main complaint (reviews said small....) and the main piece you click into place is stiff and heavy to operate (my wife could not use it).

Son has a Stewart and much smaller and easier to assemble - no contest to me, I made a mistake.

Ian, my mum and dad both have the Stewart R1, I use one of them when I visit his holiday home, easy to use

only downside is it is quite low, with the handle higher it tends to interfere with taking the longer clubs out the bag, although it could just be me

I've got a 4 round old bigmax autofold FF, great trolley that folds flat. It's going up for sale as I'm going electric.

Great trolley and a lot better made than the steward z3 I had before

Another vote for the ClicGear here Ian. Rolls really well, easy to fold, as & when it needs replacement I won't be looking anywhere else. Comes up a but taller as well which means you aren't bent double walking under a brolly.

A vote for Stewart here. Mines is nearly 3 years old now and still as good as new. And I can fir my tour bag on it too.

Just picked up the Stewart R1-S. great bit of kit and folds up tiny. Can get that and my cart bag in the boot of my car easily. Feels really well made, and piece of cake to put up and take down

I have the Big Max IQ. It folds and unfolds very easily without having to fiddle with lots of catches or twisting wheels. With the front wheel folded it is very small indeed. Comes with an excellent guarantee and after sales service.
