I'm thinking about going to Vegas golfing in September, does anyone have any recommendations for courses to play, companies to book with or is it just the usual, yourgolftravel, golf breaks etc.
would it be worth driving out to California to play for 3 days or so??

Hi Simbo, MashleyR7 was there a little while back. If he misses this post it might be worth a PM to him as he played several courses in an organised golf week he won a trip to.

Hi, new to the forum but thought I'd post on this thread as I've played Golf in Vegas before. Try the Rio Secco golf club, we booked through the desk of our hotel (planet Hollywood) and the round cost $120 but in lured transport buggies, callaway club hire, shoes and balls. Amazing course with elevated tee boxes which you hit drives 100 yards down to fairways. Well worth a look if you are going.

I've played in Vegas a few times. Best course by far was Paiute - http://www.lvpaiutegolf.com/ It has 3 courses and I've played both Sun Mountain and Wolf. Preferred Wolf, but both spectacular. It's about a 25 min taxi / drive out of Vegas, but very easy to get to.

I have also played the Bali Hai, which is quite nice. A great view coming down the 15th (I think) of the hotels and strip in the background.

Can be a little on the pricey side for golf, but the service is 2nd to none and the ball flies for miles!

Thanks gents, all info on board and will look into it more thoroughly this weekend.
When you say pricey by how much do you mean?
