Shocking and deliberate vandalism, done with a spade :angry:

Would kids us a spade, or is this something more sinister like a disgruntled member, a banned member, refused membership, refused access?

I saw this on twitter earlier and had a look back through their timeline. It seems something similar happened last month as well, although maybe not as bad as this time. Someone has it in for them.

Very sad. Looks too deliberate for kids to have done. Why anyone would do it is beyond me and sad that they've had problems before

Very nasty. We had seven greens dug up one evening last year and ruled out kids as it was too much like hard work. Most likely candidates were a couple of ex-employees and one particularly troublesome member. Credit to the greenkeepers as the greens were reasonably playable the next day.

We had diesel poured over 3 of our greens, we had a good idea who did it but couldn't prove it. BTW your damage looks like they've used a pick and a shovel, hope it grows in ok .

It was langley park. Our 3rd green which is an easy hop over a fence for anyone that way inclined. Really hope we find out who it is or even better catch them doing it if they try again.
I reckon burning those responsible for it on a huge bonfire would be the best attended social event of the season. Utter scum bags.
