Arguably the best MF to play in the Premier League & a Chelsea Legend.
Can't really fault him for going to the states to finish his career after winning everything at club level with Chelsea.
Surprised Ashley Cole didn't go Stateside as well tbh. Nice win on his Roma debut last night tho:D

No argument from me there re Frank, fantastic servant as was Ashley, best of luck to both of them. Shame the club didn't sort it out earlier so the fans could give them a proper send off at the last game.

He gets paid to play the sport he loves in arguably the best city in the world. Well done sir!

I might have agreed with you until I visited Chicago, and Vancouver gives it a good run too.

Worst kept secret since Rory and Nike.

I've always liked Frank Lampard. He is a quality player and very passionate. I think once you get to almost mid thirties you are going to be going down the pecking order so a move to MLS is a good bet to extend your career.

I've heard a lot of people say he should have stayed in the PL and done like Rio and gone to a lower team but I think once you've won everything in England why lower yourself. MLS is thriving and the way the played in the WC really helped boost the perception. I think he will have a positive influence over there.

Yup, wonder what the thinking is there; striking coach for Lukaku (if he comes back from Belgium), or just a more able replacement for Torres or BA, even at 36?

Or maybe a back up incase Costa doesn't work out
Personally I think he can still do a job as a bit part player.
Hopefully Lukaku will stay, & got to admit I'm still a Torres fan.

The futures Blue :whoo:

Can't wait for the season to start now.
Chelsea's squad Is looking pretty solid.
Had a bet with my mate (Liverpool fan) that Costa out scores Sturridge in the prem.
Got to be happy with the return of Drogba. Carragher reckons he's the best big game player he ever played against. Started talking a bit of sense since he stopped playing as Carra :D

Think that's a good bet and I might be having £10 on Costa to be top goal scorer in the PL. I wonder if City really want or need Lampard though although it might help them in Europe with a quota of English players
