Does anyone know where I can get good quality lambswool sweaters from these days? most of them are well overpriced see through rubbish. HID has had real trouble getting good quality ones for me without spending £70 or more.

Try Slaters Menswear. They have branches throughout Uk now.

They have a large selection of Knitwear and I got a Nike Lambswool Jersey there in October. The prices are discounted as well.

I'm with algar5, Slaters they do Pringle and Lyle & Scott as well and you really can't go wrong with any of the models stock by Slaters. They are even online.

I get mine at M&S. What's the point of paying double the price to get a Nike logo?

Have to agree unless they've got some form of protection M&S lambswool is something we all now. For something a bit lighter try Gap; they have Pima Cotton jumpers

I once got 3 for £70 in AG but after the first wash they now fit my old Action Man. On the other hand I've got a Lyle and Scott I've had for 20 years and looks like it's just out the polly bag. Shame about the colour. Burgundy was so a la mode in those days!. Quality kit. You get what you pay for.

Thanks lads, lots to think about there, I've checked out Woolovers online, they seem O.K. anyone else got their stuff before I commit?
