goodman cheers.

I play for Drumoig, trying to defend our handicap title this year!!

The scratch matches started last week right? Who do you play for?

Played here quite a few years ago now. Used to go to the East coast of Scotland with a few mates and Ladybank was one of the better courses we visited. I was playing like a drain in those days, and can still remember the heather!! But despite this I still remember it with fondness, as it really was a nice track with some superb holes. I still remember seeing my brother in law walking up the 14th and he gave me the "thumbs up" as I passed. We were playing a Stableford competition and he told me that he had 32 points on his card with 5 holes left to play! Jeez he was playing well, he usually hacked his way around the course.
When we got back to the clubhouse I was obviously keen to see how his round had ended. He finished on 33, taking one solitary point of the closing holes!! I laughed my socks off. Now that my golf has improved, I'd love to go back to Scotland and play some of the courses that we played then. Ladybank, Blairgowrie, Downfield, Scotscraig, Carnoustie to name but a few.
One of the nicest courses we played whilst there was a little known club called "Alyth"...had never heard of it before but I booked us up for the day on the offchance. What a great course, and it cost peanuts to play.
