I have been watching the womens golf this morning and its great to see
Charlie Hull playing well and being near the top of the leaderboard.

However wheres the excitement its like theres some people walking around
and theres a round of golf going on.

Samantha Head in the studio with Robert Lee well you could have had a
cardboard cut out and got more enthusiasm.

And worst of all Charlie Hull plumb bobbing a 6" putt on the 17th no wonder
its so slow.

Not sure if it's as simple as this but I find the coverage to be really bad. Apart from the lack of interest/charisma on the commentary side they seem to make some strange decisions about what they show. For example, yesterday they showed Charley Hull's group walking from one green to the next tee, whipping out yardage books, assessing the wind, selecting a club etc.... Alternatively we could have had about five minutes watching other players' shots.

I think there's a 'career progression' for all the staff behind the scenes -commentators, camera teams, Interviewers, techies, producers etc - and Ladies is at least 1 level down from the top!

I'd still prefer to watch the occasional walk from Green to Tee (both Men and Ladies) than constant views of white sky that might have a ball in it! It's a question of balance!
