The girlfriend has started taking lessons with our local pro (Burnham on Crouch in Essex). The lessons are going well, she's enjoying them and she's eager to get out on a par 3 course.

So, now is the time to buy her some appropriate weapons. She puts in a sensible amount of welly into her swing, but years of dog walking have weakened her wrists (no giggling at the back). I think she needs regular stiffness, very light weight graphite shaft irons.
Can anyone recommend an appropriate make and model?
Thanks

As the pro who is giving the GF lessons has seen her swing and her strengths and weaknesses 1st hand, I would have thought he would be in a better position to recommend what clubs to look at

Take the Pro's advice, but, trying to get her to use regular shafts may not be ideal, clubhead and shaft weight will be a lot more than a ladies club would be. My wife plays off 14 and although she can hit gents reg clubs, she does notice the difference compared to her own clubs.

Unless she is a very athletic person and has played for example tennis or hockey before, I'd be surprised, if she needed regular shafts. Ladie's or at the most senior shafts should be the choice, most likely. Plus, in most cases, when you get a set with regular shafts (unless you get it custom fitted), all the other specs like weight, length etc. will be aimed at an average male golfer as well. I tried to play with my dad's set a few times (regular shafts in the irons and senior shafts in the hybrids and woods) and it felt like hitting broomsticks to me.
