We have a friendly comp every Thursday and the men have Wednesday and Saturday comps, all non qualifers though.
We run a monthly stableford every month (conditions permitting) and there's a Xmas turkey trot too. Not sure why we don't have medals after November but that's what the powers that be decree. At least we're getting a comp now and then

We've had no men's comps since 3rd week in September. And nothing now till April. Bit of a joke really I would have expected there to be a few comps thoughout to keep people interested but I guess not.

We have a mixture of scrambles and 4bbb, foursomes and mixed events! Now it's a. Bit wet it's rotated around 14 holes!

Our comps don't stop, although we only play 15 hole comps on a sat in winter and winter league on a Sunday. I can't remember the last time I played a friendly game of golf.

We get virtually nothing mideeek in the Winter. One comp a month December to March weather permitting.
This year we've started a winter league. Divisionalised and from the yellows its the best 5 cards from a max of 20 to count.
Going to need in excess of 200 points to be in with a shout but its good for a laugh..!

There is also a winter league that runs.
A couple of years back the Pro ran a points accumulator - roll up on a Saturday or Sunday and play. If you enter the accumulator you put a card in as normal and pay a small entry fee. He was then awarding places on the day (1st - 3rd) and overall places over about a 4 month stretch as a bit of an incentive to play. I think you could take your 10 best scores in the overall comp. Just a fun thing but then changed Pro and not been on since.
