Just booked a few days there over half term with the kids, anyone been , top tips?

I will hopefully play once or twice - is it expensive to hire clubs or should I take mine?

Is it easy to get a game (I am on my own so will be looking to hook up for a game)

For the kids, do I need to book activities (they will be keen on footy and tennis)

Any insight gratefully received

Cheers

Played the South and North courses in a tournament back in 2012, very enjoyable. I preferred the North course as it just looked nicer. I believe the Pro shop has decent sets of clubs available for hire, would be well worth giving them a call to check on costs though to hire. I guess it really comes down to how much you'd expect to play as to whether or not its worth taking your own over.

Just come back from there last week. South course was £70 and West was £60. Both well worth the cash. Dont book on the north as they've just finished some serious green maintenance on it. it'll take at least 2 weeks to recover.

Cant comment in club hire. You will have no problem being paired up as this is their busiest time of the year.

If you get chance also pop over to las colinas for a round. Truly amazing

You can pre book tee times with the golf administration. They run 3 competitions a week which are worth entering (5 euros + green fee) as they are early start times and they fix you with playing partners, they are Monday 4BBB, Wednesday Medal and Friday Stableford you can ask which courses they are on, email golf admin.

You will need to book tennis f you want the kids to go in the academy (every day!) depending on their keenness, bear in mind its half term and will be very busy with kids + adults and football you can book when you get there.

Where are you staying?

Lucky you. Las Lomas is great. Good Italian food in Luigi's. There will be plenty for the kids to do, I can recommend the junior tennis academies.

you may be entitiled to discount when staying at Las Lomas, not sure, but if you dont have a car they will transport you around the site by bus, usually on demand.

Have a great time, I am sure you will want to go again, has every thing for the family, and 3 vey good golf courses!

Las Lomas in a town house

And they are very nice too. Love the place and hope to be back there soon. You'll have no problems getting around the place. Just go to reception and ask them for the minibus. It usually comes fairly quickly.

Yep, definitely jealous.
