There was a post about a muni somewhere and it got me thinking about where I started playing and learned about this wonderful game. Tried to find pictures and there are some online but over 40 years of growth has changed it a tad.
I did find this local review about it which shows it hasn't changed in 40 years.
Knightswood Golf Club
Situated in the heart of the City of Glasgow, this course is not for the feint of heart.
If your playing this course in dry weather, it's best to keep moving. Try not to stand still for too long as the danger of being struck by a glass projectile increases.
Never leave your property unattended and play the course in large groups.
Inspector Brown of Partick Police Office, recommends playing in at least an eight ball, only before lunch and only with old or borrowed clubs for your own safety.
The signature hole at Knightswood is most definitely the 5th, which is coincidentally where they recovered Inspector Browns stolen Police Car.

Ahhh those were the days..........
