Has anyone used this ? If so, is it any good ?

I always wipe my shoes with a damp cloth to clean them, and let them dry properly, but I haven't applied anything to protect them yet. I remember someone on here said dubbin was a no no, so I'm looking for a product to keep my shoes smart and protected from the weather.

Cheers.

I find the suff I use easy to wipe off before it dries, but I may resort to a small paint brush to really do it well !

Mind you, that makes me sound like a complete 'gear freak' doesnt it ?? :D

I just like looking after my gear thats all, particularly shoe's !

Reminds of of my mum "white-ing out" my trainers as a kid.....don't do it!! better to look "used" than white!!!

I got some, thinking that it would make my Dryjoys look better. Nope. No matter what you do it just looks so un-natural. By all means clean your shoes with baby wipes or whatever. But as for this stuff. I wouldn't bother again.

It's a shame as my Dryjoys after only 3 months look more tired than my knacked 2 year old Greenjoys!

Must be the inverse proportion / cost thing!

Will admit to being slightly disappointed with how the Dryjoys are looking now. They have had a dire winter to get through, they are white, and the course is clay based. I guess I cant expect the shoes to look like the pros in their sunny, dry climates.

Perhaps white golf shoes and the UK climate are an optimistic combination!
