Anyone else trying to encourage their children to get into the game? My wee lad is 5 and literally cant get enough. He has the putting mat in his room that he plays with every day and he loves going to the range. Ill need to inquire about the practice putting green at the local municipal course as hes always asking to go out on the course with me but i know he wont want to walk it the distance of even a few holes so would make him feel like he is getting a game :) Love the enthusiasm he has for it :)

Having trouble embedding the video if one of the mods could help me out please, that would be much appreciated.

I took my boy with me on Wednesday for the midweek medal.
He has just turned 6.
He absolutely loved it.
However just on the downside I think he learnt a few more swear words,we all
had mares.
That is the first time he has walked all 18,usually I take him on my own when the course is quiet,
just for 7 holes.
Theres no substitute for the course,as you said ask for permission first.
Im teaching him ettiquete and safety at the moment, very important they learn early.

My lad is just turned 4 hadn't really shown a lot of interest until lately now can't get enough of putting and crazy golf (it's a start!).
I got him some clubs for his birthday so the range beckons soon.
I got my 2 nephews into it around 6, one stuck with and gives me a thrashing most times the other is a very occasional player these days. Just give them the opportunity and let them make there own minds up.
