Kicking Ball

In our comp on Saturday a PP hit a shot which I had eyes on but he did not see. Whilst pointing out which direction it had gone he ended up kicking the ball (moved about a foot).

All 3 of us playing could not decide on the ruling. I thought it was a 1 shot penalty and replace the ball to it's original position but others were saying play from where it lies and 2 shots.

Can someone please clarify the ruling on this?

wooo, chuffed with that one! Wait till I see the old timers I played with

we ended up covering both options, played 1 from where it lied and one from where he kicked it from.

Luckily he blobbed both of them so we didn't have to worry about it :rofl:

I meant he had just moved it a short distance with his shot ... (how far he kicked it doesn't matter)
