is this guy for real?

some of his pre-shot routines are doing my head in,and that fresh air thing he does is a joke.he takes an absolute age with all the silly wee wiggles and then completely misses the ball.imho that is a fresh air and penalise him for it.........he is a !!!!!

apparently he was on the clock last night aswell as kuchar who is another player i cannot stand.he's a boring so and so with no personality.

are they playing together tonight?that should be fun to watch,i wonder if sky will extend the live coverage to accomadate their ridiculously long round of golf:sbox:

i hope rickie comes out and rips the course up and gives us something decent to watch....

I hope Fowler wins as well, but Na's problem is psychological and not intentional. I'll cut him some slack this time, but he needs some help.

It is indeed psychological. So is intense dislike of the guy. If he manages to work through his demons, I will work through my dislike of him, but not promising anything.

At least he has the good manners to apologize to his playing partner when hes does it.

He apologized to Zach Johnson 3 times in 5 holes last night for his inability to get the ball away.

I'll agree with all that it is annoying and the guy needs help.

Not a big fan of na. dont care if he wins or not, but it must be very difficult to play if he is having issues pulling the trigger. Hopefully he will get through it as it cant be nice, regardless of anyones feelings for the man.
I quite like kucher, read a couple interviews and found them to come accross well for a yankee doodle!!

does anyone know how long his round actually took last night? The coverage seemed to finish on time. I was stuck behind a 4 ball of hackers on Thursday who steadfastly refused to let us play through. The round took 4 1/2 hours, and seemed more like 6. My game went to pot as well, until I learned to just relax and accept the delays on each shot...

thats the very drive that irritated me last night.

he's even angry at himself, this type of ocd is very very frustrating to the person, trust me he knows and he is trying to sort it,

Lets not have umpteen kevin Na threads please

I don't have a problem with it at all, you are allowed 45 seconds and in that instant it was about a minute, so he's over time.... however he walks like greased lightening afterwards and that makes up for the extra time on the tee... and not all his tee-shots are that bad. There was a lot of moaning last night about it yet they were walking to the 17th tee as Kuchar's group left the green.... hardly a mile behind the group in front.

A lot of hot air, but he clearly has issues.

I been watching aswell if is was playing with it would wind me up and end up knocking him out.

They must start to give fines for slow play

I think you mean Glen 'All' Day. Jason Day is not a noted slow player.

Jason 'all bloody' day.

He is like watching paint dry. The only reason anyone might think he isn't slow is that once everything is finished he gets up and hits the ball quite briskly. The tv editors know this and cut to him after all the mucking about.

Keegan Bradley is like this too.

And Webb Simpson, and Woods

and and and and etc etc

Although it's not practical, I'd like to send them out as one balls. Then you could penalise them. At the moment they all hide behind each other.

Only good thing is that Fowler and McCilroy are quite brisk, and they feature on quite a lot of coverage.

What are the rules for puting someone "on the clock"?
I assume you have to put the pair on the clock, which would be unfair if Fowler - one of the quickest on Tour - was playing with Na.
But since no-one ever gets penalised, its all academic
Thankfully Fowler is not paired with Na this afternoon as it might wreck his game to play at that speed.

I feel a bit sorry for Na, I'm sure he wants to hit the ball first time, not back off repeatedly.
It's amazing how well he hits it after all the faffing about.

i'd be angry at myself aswell if i was doing that, still doesn't make it alright does it?whether it is right or not will not make a blind bit of difference to my decision on being irritated by it.

and if i want to start a thread about it then i will......
