So today's the day. I've filled in the forms and am arranging my standing order......I'm now a member of my first golf club!

Nothing at all and why should it, you have only joined a golf club and its to be enjoyed. We are in 2013 not the 1950's. Golf Clubs are friendly places on the whole.
