Hi everyone, im watching the players as I bet most of you are on a Saturday night! It got me thinking does anyone know why Ken Brown has never gone to Sky as the on course analyst. Everyone has there own opinion on commentary etc but I cannot think of anyone better to do the on course commentary. Anybody got any idea as to why he sticks with the BBC? Cheers Todd

I think if he went to Sky it would involve more work, he only does the Masters, Wentowrth and the Open with the BBC, he's maybe happy just doing that and having the free time to do what he wants.

On a side note, why doesn't Wayne Riley do more of the big events for Sky, so much better than the rest of the on course commentators they have.

Re: Side Note: I think it depends on TV rights. Sky clearly have more rights for this than most other events so can get their own guys closer to the action. Usually they have to take what the host broadcaster gives them.

The Sky coverage baffles me at times as well, Monty and Mark Roe do my head in. I like Simon Holmes a lot but he's never at the big events even though he's coached Major winners. I think they should put him with Butch instead of Mark Roe. He's just like Monty never won anything big but thinks he has the right to bag other players. I.E. Bubba wont go on and win the Masters well Mr Montgomerie he's now won it twice more than you ever did. On to the subject im guessing your right with Ken just preferring the pace of a few tournaments a year. Just saying it would be nice to hear him a bit more!

SLDR is a great club, i like it a lot

but the Callaway BB Alpha knocked it into a tin hat

Going to do a head 2 head on a monitor to see which one wins Distance V Dispersal

will report back

I'd agree apart from I prefer Coltart rather than Roe.

Also it's shame Di Dougherty ain't on anymore, Sarah Stirk ain't too bad but she needs to flash the flesh a little more :)

Stirk - 5 pints.

I imagine Ken Brown gets well paid by the BBC, and only has to work about 8 days of the year.;)

Butch is the best, though Peter Alliss used to be. Worst are Monty and Oosty.

I like it when Holmes has to hit shots though. Love to see a men sweat with fear.;)

Sarah Stirk is good with the interviews. Seems to get more than a yes and no out of the players.

Radar is good, but sometimes slips into David Feherty mode.
