Ken Brown

Haveto agree, he is becoming a parody of himself - trying to hard to be eccentric IMO

Have to agree.
I usually look forward to his little insights, very informative....
But yesterday I was cringing at times.
Don't do it Ken. However much they are paying you.
Just be yourself.

When he was on the tour, he was the most dour, drab, dull, dowdy, and any other word starting with d player going ! Sorry, but i find his pieces on the course embarrassing. As a commentator together with Peter Alliss he is fine.

To me, when he blew on a ball on a green and it landed at the hole many yards away, I would suggest was a most descriptive piece of evidence of the task facing the players on the fast greens.

He could have hit 10 balls with his putter and we would never have had the same insight.

Totally agree, that was an inspired demonstration, whoever dreampt that up got it spot on!

The rest of the time was pretty cringeworthy, he prances across the greens trying to look funny? Doesn't work for me, most of the audience are sport if not golf nuts and don't need the theatrics!
