Died aged 94, god that makes me feel old.

Saw him play at St Andrews in 1960. Class act.
Along with Sir Bob, Gary Player and Peter Thompson we always wanted our Commonwealth 'pals' to beat the yanks.
The British players were very poor at that time

Sad to hear, but a pretty good innings!

Saw him mentioned in the news quite a bit back home as he played in NZ a lot, harvesting quite a few titles!

Always very popular, though I wasn't into Golf at that stage, except to follow results.
