K1 Fast Speed Driver

This is undoubtedly a cracking club, by any stretch of the imagination.....

Look up some threads to see just how well loved the K1 is...

I love jjb......such a great shop and full of quality golf gear.

NOT

Not sure the K1 can be held up as a shining example but I do think there is some merit in using weights to change the shape of your shot. However I think if you have a persistent swing problem like a slice these clubs only mask the fault but don't fix it. I think the money would be better spent on a lesson if you are serious about your golf. If not and just play for fun I think these clubs (Mizuno do a driver where tyou can change the weighting not sure who else) will at least help hit it straighter

A number of my clubs have moeable weights but, to be honest, I have never touched them. You should also bear in mind that some of these clubs only come with 2 even sized weights so to actually get the full effect you have to go and buy more.

I see we now have a K1 fast speed driver advertised on Setenata. Is this more advertising rubbish or is there any merit in weighted drivers?

Can't comment on the product as never tried it but the advertising feature I watched on it was certainly cringeworthy!

The thing that gets me about the the K1. When you see a pro endorse a club you then see them play the club in compotition, (or another club made to look like it, for the conspiricy theorists). When did you last see Sam Torrance play the K1 Speed in a seniors event. Or Tony Jacklin for that matter.

there is an element of false advertising with this club also, i am on about when they are supposed to drive the 10tn green at the belfry, ferkin no chance,if you have ever been you will know what i mean, just think if they are doing this with the advert do you believe what they are saying about the club ?
