.........Hole in one

I'm proper chuffed and still in shock that i actually done it!

It was at my mates course Eccleston park in rainhill/liverpool 4th par 3 165yds slightly uphill.

As we were on the tee the 4ball in front waved us through as they were looking for a ball. Anyway, i was last to hit and by this time the said 4ball were around the green waiting for me to hit. As i hit a lovely straight 7i it bounced on the edge of the green, which took a bit of pace out of it and rolled about 20ft into the hole

I had just put my club in the bag and looked up to see the 4ball waving and clapping i couldn't believe it. When i got upto the pin 1 of the blokes said as soon as it bounced it was bang on line to drop and never looked like missing

Well done! I've only ever witnessed one, on a pitch and putt course with a mate when we were kids. My mate holed his tee-shot on the last hole, then in a fit of joy he ran up the fairway, screaming with glee, to get his ball, leaving me on the tee ready to play my tee shot. I still think it was a bit un-sporting and un-cool of him!
