A friend of mine rang a few minutes ago and said he had a slot tomorrow for a game of golf due to a corporate guest dropping out and would I like to make up the numbers?

36 holes at The Berkshire on the Blue and Red course with carvery lunch and a dinner afterwards locally too?

Don't mind if I do! :thup::clap:

I just had a phone call too Snelly ......... seems I'm on the national database for the Government Green Energy deal!!

Don't care about the golf, but will look forward to a full report on the bottle(s) of choice and standard of waitresses.....

Have a fabulous day!

Could his better friends not make it then? :D

Play well Dave, weather looks perfect. :thup:

Great about the weather - hadn't checked the forecast.

Played well a couple of weeks ago at McDonald Portal. Team came 3rd and we and won a Fitbit Charge HR - cool device by the way. So fingers crossed I can play half decent golf tomorrow. Can also try out my new shoes for the second time. Can't remember the exact name but posh FJ's that look pretty futuristic. Never thought I would buy a pair like them but they are very comfy. :)

Am invited as I am doing some work on Mobile Apps for automotive dealerships at the moment and my mate knows this. One of our 4-ball is the MD of one of the largest automotive groups in the UK so my pal thought I would appreciate the invite. And I do! :)

Played at the Berkshire before Christmas and one of the restaurant staff is a fantastic minx. Will report more if she is working. May even try for a photo! :)

Wine. Not sure but winners choose and losers pay is our standard bet. A nice Amarone would be good...... :)

Cant beat free golf, excuse my ignorance but i take it its a cracking course

Two courses. Both lovely. The Red and The Blue. The Red is my favourite as it has 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5's. Always a good test and always beautiful.

Presumably you'll be making the most of the opportunity and will be pitching your product on the way round. ;)

I smell a rat, Snelly doesn't have a friend, surely ;)

Red was in good condition in March, but I thought the beef was slightly rare for me.;)

Our fourball all birdied the third, which is the first time that has ever happened to me. One was a girl playing off the mens tees as well.
