In our clubs doubles KO....

Me and my mate had got threw to the quarter finals, with me off 20 and him 17..... Now we can both par most holes on our course but not much consistency between us.... We have done ok so far with one of us being in play nod keeping the scores going... Although we had played others around the same handicap...

Tonight we had a game with a lad off 6 and his partner off 12... Now the lowest handicapper players off scratch and then the others take his handicap off the its 3/4 .... So I played off 11!!!!!

Anyway only managed to half one hole.... That was me parting the course SI 1...... We got battered... Lad playing off scratch actually played to it.... He went par, birdie, bogey, birdie, bogey, par, par, birdie, par....... I came off the course a bit down...

Just been threw my scores and noticed I didn't actually play that bad..... And my chipping was woeful.... I went double bogey, bogey, bogey, bogey, blob, par, bogey, bogey, bogey.... (Blob was OOB on par 3, didn't reload as others s were on green!!)

The lads even commented that is I had a short game I'd be ok...... Only been in the game 2 years but my practise will now mainly consist of 100 yarrds and in.....

It happens. Hawkeye and I got a good old fashioned whooping in the Nike matchplay. We were 6 down after 6 and they had something like five or six birdies in the first nine. It didn't last much after the turn

I played with a 2 HCP player recently. He was 17 and has been playing for 4 years. He shot -2 on the PGA (Belfry) and it was an inspiration to watch.

The lad hit the ball miles......... Irons and woods, and had a short game.... Although he took a ribbin. In the club house that his puttin his poor.... Wasn't that bad although hi pus his irons close!!!

Yep the lad out hit the 3 of us with driver and he was about 9 stone and we are by no means short lol he also played most of the round with only a hybrid off the tee and borrowed our drivers for a few long holes as he had left his driver at home because he had planned to play the Derby.

I know the feeling, me and my partner(h/c 23) got to the final of our 4BBB, which we played yesterday against girls off 6 and 12. The girl off 6 was I under gross par at the end of the match (the 14th. Lovely o watch but hard to be on the wrong end of it.
