80 for the 1st time....... Fair to say I'm chuffed :)

Shame I was playing on my own....... Still plenty out there too but got up and down well today!!

Happy that the hard work over the winter is coming together..........

Think I'd get talked about coming in with a net 58 in the opening medal........... But I'll have a card in my hands then so anything could happen.........

Amazing job well done... what did you shoot? How putts on the last to break 80... did you feel the nerves?

It does not matter that you were on your own, its you it matters to most and you who will remember it. Congratulations, enjoy the good feeling!

Cheers guys..... Still on a high!!

+8 gross for the round..... Knew I was 68 on the par 5 17, hit a good drive then hit 2 poor 3 woods going for glory .. Nice steady 6 iron to middle of green and 2 putts later walked to the 18th knowing I had 6 to play with on the par 3 18th..... Hit the green, smiled walking up with 5 putts to play with, used 3!!!!

Now to keep it going!!

great shooting, doesn't matter that you were on your own either.i did it for the first time a couple of weeks back, and i'm yet to reproduce it with a comp card in my pocket, but the way i see it, i know it's there and it can be done.someone said to me that when get in that position again ( close with a few holes to go), you'll be in good shape because you can remember doing it in the past.

Well done mate, bet you felt the pressure with that par 3 18th tee shot!

Well done matey.. Once you've broken a barrier, you'll be amazed at how often you can break it in future.. It's all in the head.. Set yourself a new target of breaking 77 and have a great season..

Congratulations mate that's excellent. Now you've done it, I'm sure it won't be long before you do it again with playing partners and competitions! Bravo though :whoo:
