Just booked IT!

are you that far away?

don't get too excited, its just an hour, however the stats are very interesting and explained well.

Point of advice, he will advise a couple of clubs and thats what he focuses on from then on if your happy, ideally try ones you wouldnt normally ie if your a cavity man try the new blades and vice versa, its affirmation what you really want and you never know the blade/cavity might actually be better for your swing and eye.

Good thing is there is no sales pressure, in fact they DONT sell, they advise and then you go away and buy wherever you want.

good luck

I got my irons custom fitted at the Cumbernauld centre before Mizuno moved to World of Golf - i was impressed at the time with the centre at Cumbernauld but when i went to get my driver custom fitted at World of Golf i was amazed how the technology had moved on (they have a great set up there) The lad who works there is called Graeme Gorrie, he sorted me out with a driver in no time which was good and bad as it took so little time. I was the last appointment of the day and felt time was an issue when it would have been fun to have played about with all the different models.(the group before me had seemingly been there tinkering about with stuff for ages.) Anyway i went specifically for a new driver which would suit my game which i got and will have for the forseeable future therefore am a happy bunny.
Have Fun!

The problem is it being a Saturday - my course has competitions on so no chance of a bounce game here i'm afraid or i would have offered to take you on. The decent courses in the Glasgow area mostly Private so depending on whether or not they are still playing competitions will dictate whether you can get on. Had a look online at a couple of courses near World of Golf - Clydebank & District (Private) no visitors on SaTURDAYS and Dalmuir (Municiple) visitors allowed from 2:30pm on Saturdays - getting a visitor round on Saturday i think is going to be a problem.

try Windyhill GC- about 4 mins away from Clydebank and District- James Braid design, some cracking holes

I played hardgate and you are better phoning them. It is an allright spot nothing special. I came from Clydebank and learned at Dalmuir.

Do you realise Glasgow Gailes ain't in Glasgow. A good hour away on the Ayrshire Coast - £65 aint bad if its not too far out of your way.

Hey, enjoy the fitting and remember some numbers for us geeks. Look forward to hearing what your get, I can sorta guess already but we will see...
