I tried several clubs from different manufactures and the Taylormade and the Orka irons were easily the best for me. The trouble is I don't know which to get, do I go for the brand everyone knows or the lesser known Orkas.

That shouldn't come into it. You are buying the clubs for you to use not for the resale value and the next person.

Correct, resale value never entered my head.

If it had been say a choice between Taylormade and Titliest I would have gone for the cheapest, its the unknown (to me) element of Orka that is making me ponder.

Whats with the unknown element that's making you think. If they suit your needs and they play well then go for it. I reckon you would get a way better service from ORKA if anything was to go wrong than you would from TM.

How did you get fitted at Chorlton Louise, did the pro go out with you on the course or have they got a fitting area? Just interested as it is only down the road from me and played it a few times.

You've got members like RickG who speaks highly of them and he hits them very well around his new club, then on the flip side you have Fragger who doesn't get past the yellow blocks snigger.gif

We did most of it indoors then I took the 2 best outside to try.

The average distances were very similar Beggsy

You have to make the decision on what you think is best for you, as an Orka user I certainly wouldnt be put off by them being a lesser known brand, the only negative would be if you think you will sell them in the first year or two as the resale values are lower (not an issue for me). What irons, the GS5s? As for customer service, I couldnt fault the service Ive received from Orka
