I'm seeking advice on buying junior golf clubs for my nephew who is just starting to het involved in the game. He's a very small 15 year old and like many of us before, so keen to get his own first set of clubs. I'm concious of how quickly they grow out of clubs and don't want him to waste money so keen to get something half decent for him at a reasonable price.

TBH, not got a scooby doo with regards to junior clubs so thanks for any tips and pointers of where's best to get some. If anyone is selling any let me know.

Cheers

Have a look around for a set of used ladies clubs as they are probably a better option than junior or cut down mens clubs.
Lots available at a good price on auction sites and as long as they are not too girly (pink shafts) shouldn't cause him too much embarrassment.

When you say a small 15 year old, how small ? Most 15 year old's would be on a regular mens club. If not, i would have thought it wouldn't take long for him to get into them, so buying a junior set would be a waste. My son who is now 14 in the last year has gone from a women's club to a regular mens and is now on a stiff shaft. trouble keeping up with all the club changes :)

Id reccomend ladies clubs, you could pick up a good second hand set for peanuts as this is what i did a couple of years ago, i am now in mens clubs but my driver has lasted and i am only just selling it now.
