How do you do it? I'm really struggling. Is there a magic formula? Obviously they are slower so you need to swing a bit longer but it's magnified the longer it goes so really struggling with long putts

Just work on the getting the pace right. Not much you can do when it hits a little hole etc.

But normally you find when greens like that
1 they don't break as much as they would normally
2 they tend not to take the bit. IE run out more than normal

But I tend not to spend as much time reading them and concentrate more on the pace. There is no magic trick on mastering them as they are simply unpredictable

The bigger the aeration holes and the more sand there is, the slower they become. You just have accept the occasional 3 or 4 putt! It still helps to keep your head still and the other putting fundamentals.

I played on a shocker last weekend. I used a hybrid on one particular long putt as there was no way it would have reached using a putter. Worked as well. On other greens I went for the firm and straight approach. It's Mickey Mouse stuff, don't get worried by it.
