John "Wild thing" Daly, one of golf's great characters?

You'd be slimmer with a gastric band fitted!!
One of the few guy's I would gladly pay cash to watch play golf, just wish he could get back in the mix again.he's too talented to disappear.

Watched him this morning and I think its a great benefit the European tour has welcomed him. He was playing good today and I think he finished -2 and his eagle was cracking.

Not really ever been a huge fan even when he was playing good golf but I do like the sheer unpredictability that surrounds him on and off the course. Not sure the off course is good for the game but put him out there with a set of clubs and a ball(s) and its always interesting

I can't comment on the trousers, as I considered these, but bought the green/yellow/white version. They go well with my patent yellow classics.

Coming to a meet near you......

Golf needs more like him.

Too many stuck up farts, with their over inflated ego's scared to have a beer.

Andy

He is obviously sponsored by Loudmouthgolf judging by todays trousers, (and yesterdays too).

They look better on me, as I am a bit under 20 stone.

Golf needs chaacters, so I hope he does ok, but I feel he i now drinking at the last chance saloon.

Hope he manages to control himself and get back to some sort of form.

IMO he never go the credit for his superb short game, all people spoke abou was his power and how far he hit the ball.

Watching yesterday and the commentators were talking about the long hitter with good short game and where it could get them, Daly was the main reference as was Alvaro Quiros.

JD is a club golfer who hit the big time so we can all relate to him. Every club has a player who could be so much better but likes the bevvie too much and JD is that guy but on a bigger stage. I love the fact that he doesn't conform and is a bit of a lad but he does draw the crowds.

YOO DA MAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
